About AAALP

The American Association of AgLabor Provider’s (AAALP) vision, mission, code of conduct. and priorities reflect our commitment to fostering a U.S. agricultural labor provider industry that champions professionalism, safety, and responsibility across the supply chain.

Our Story

The American Association of AgLabor Providers (AAALP) was founded to address a critical gap in the U.S. agricultural sector: the need for education, capacity-building, and a collaborative network tailored to farm labor contractors (FLCs) and recruiters. These businesses play an essential role in recruiting, managing, and supplying labor to U.S. farms but often face unique challenges in navigating complex legal and operational landscapes. In consultation with industry leaders, AAALP was created to meet these needs and elevate standards across the supply chain in responsible recruitment and fair labor practices.

Guided by a Development Advisory Committee (DAC) composed of agricultural associations, FLCs, recruiters, government representatives, and academics, AAALP has built its foundation on industry insights and shared goals.

Established by Stronger Together US, AAALP is the first and only national association dedicated to supporting FLCs and recruiters through education and community-building.

Vision + Mission

Vision:  A professional, safe, responsible, and sustainable U.S. agriculture labor provider industry that prioritizes the well-being of its workforce to the benefit of all parties in the agricultural supply chain.

Mission:  To advance the professional development and integrity of the U.S. agricultural labor provider market by promoting and upholding safe, ethical, and responsible standards. We equip our members with the guidance, and support needed to implement and maintain these standards. Additionally, we encourage growers, suppliers, and buyers to require transparency in such practices to build a more sustainable and ethical supply chain.

Code of Conduct

The Code of Conduct outlines the fundamental principles and expectations for all members of the American Association of AgLabor Providers (AAALP). Designed to guide the professional conduct of our association members, this code serves as a commitment to integrity, responsibility, and ethical practices in the agricultural labor provider industry. Grounded in internationally recognized standards such as the Ethical Charter on Responsible Labor Practices and Stronger Together’s Organizational Standards, it provides a clear framework for ensuring responsible recruitment and fair labor practices for all individuals and businesses in the labor supply chain.
