AAALP is launching its inaugural 2026 Cohort — a new, cohort-based pathway for farm labor contractors (FLCs) and recruiters who want to strengthen their operations, demonstrate credibility, and progress from new Provisional to Full Membership through structured, peer-based learning.
What Is the 2026 Cohort?
FLCs play a critical role in U.S. agriculture, yet many face growing pressure from buyers, regulators, and partners to demonstrate strong systems and responsible practices. The 2026 Cohort is designed to help labor providers meet those expectations — together. The AAALP 2026 Cohort is an optional, guided learning pathway in which participants will meet monthly over three months to:
- Move through the AAALP Core Training Program together
- Join a facilitated peer learning group
- Work through real-world challenges and practical solutions
- Use the AAALP Self-Assessment Tool to apply learning to their own operations
The focus is practical, business-oriented, and grounded in U.S. law and international standards.
Timeline
- January/February 2026: Enrollment open
- Spring 2026: Cohort sessions run
- Summer 2026: Participants who complete the process are recognized as Full AAALP Members
Who Should Join?
The cohort is designed for FLCs and recruiters who want to:
- Strengthen internal systems
- Demonstrate credibility with growers, suppliers, and buyers
- Be part of a professional community committed to responsible recruitment and fair labor practices
